Your Quick Gateway (Windsor) Inc. (YQG) Seeks Board Members June 30th, 2008: Your Quick Gateway (Windsor) Inc. (YQG), a wholly owned federal share capital corporation of the City of Windsor seeks qualified individuals to serve as Board Members.
The mandate of the new Board, among others, is to assist in the development of an appropriate governance structure, short and long-term strategic plan, Airport Master Plan, and make recommendations for an appropriate and sustainable funding model for infrastructure investment.
The Board will be comprised of up to 12 Directors. Successful applicants should possess several of the following qualifications:
- Experience and expertise in increasing market share, building a strong brand, and developing innovative revenue generating strategies;
- Managerial, financial and marketing background, preferably with the transportation industry;
- Experience in airport development and/or operations;
- Experience in public/private partnerships and government relations at the municipal, provincial and/or federal level; real estate development;tourism and hospitality and/or related industry sectors; and economic development initiatives;
- Familiarity with the Windsor, Essex County and Detroit Markets.
