Ensuring the safety and security of our travelers and visitors is our top priority. Security at the Windsor International Airport is achieved via the joint efforts of the Airport Security team; its private security company, Commissionaires, Windsor Division; Windsor Police Department; and two agencies of Transport Canada: Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA).
Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) is responsible for screening all passengers and their belongings prior to boarding and the screening of non-passengers entering airport restricted -areas.
